Sam Mangakahia
Sam Mangakania grew up on theSunshine Coast in Noosa, Australia. His background is Māori which shaped and influenced most of his work. He graduated BYU-Hawaii in 2022, studying graphic design, painting, and entrepreneurship. Sam has spent many years learning from and working with renowned cultural artists, which has helped him create and sell his art today. He started Shaka Tribe with his wife in 2020 as a way to reach more people and share essential values through Polynesian art. They hope to help other companies and individuals share their own stories.
