When hiking a mountain, we are faced with many challenges. The steep ridges, endless switchbacks, and sometimes ending up lost. We go through life as though we are climbing a mountain. Although it’s difficult, we can find the strength and courage to reach the top. The most important thing we need to remember is that a mountain is made of a strong and immovable foundation. Although there are loose rocks and uneven surfaces, it still stands strong against the natural disasters that the world puts against it. 

Each level of this design represents our different stages in life and experiences that we build upon. We can’t go through life’s many challenges on our own. This Polynesian design carries the strength of our ancestors who inspire us to be of good courage and overcome our trials.
